How SLMA processes your personal data
Your personal privacy is important to us and therefore we want to inform you about where your personal data is obtained from, how we use it and what rights you have. . We do everything we can to protect them from unauthorized access.

We strive to process your personal data in accordance with current data protection legislation. Therefore, in common with many other large organizations and authorities, we have an ongoing project with the aim of adapting our treatments to the data protection regulation.

HOW LONG DOES THE DATA KEEP?
We keep your personal data as long as it is needed for us to fulfill our mission towards you, and what follows from legislation. This means that we keep your data as long as you choose to be a member of the association.
HOW WE USE COLLECTED INFORMATION
SLMA uses the information you have provided to be able to monitor and promote your interests, in your profession and your education. For the same purposes, we may contact you for member surveys.

We also use your information to apply for grants to the association.

We may share information with our main association ILMA and its affiliate associations which process data on our behalf in order to be able to perform our services, e.g. analysis, distribution or other services to maintain and apply our terms of use. In all handling of personal data, however, high security and confidentiality are always observed.

SLMA will never forward information about you to anyone other than the above, unless this is required by law, unless you explicitly ask us to do so.

SLMA protects your personal data through technical and organizational security measures.
