About us
SLMA is a non-profit association that unites healthcare professionals with a Lebanese connection and is completely politically and religiously unbound. We are a Swedish branch of an international association called ILMA, International Lebanese Medical Association. However, the activities of SLMA and ILMA are independent of each other.
Since our founding, we have been determined to influence the healthcare system in the right direction. We operate by providing our members both with a national but also an international network of contacts within healthcare. We also work with education both through social media but also by being part of the recurring webinars that ILMA organizes in collaboration with the Lebanese Medical Association.
We believe in leading by example. Lebanon is currently undergoing a major economic and political crisis. We therefore also work actively to support the Lebanese population and healthcare. We hope that our conviction will shine through in all our efforts. Welcome to be part of the change.
